Hunger For Giving Thanks (Hunger p. 2)

This one’s coming out a little bit later than usual due to Thanksgiving festivities and the Itis.
The last time I sat down together and had Thanksgiving with my family was in 2007. I don’t really understand my relationship with my family well, but it was nice eating home cooked food and being in a positive atmosphere.
It’s hard to know how much warmth you really need until it’s returned back to you. Just like I alluded to in the first Hunger post, you may not realize that you are dehydrated because you still function like you think you should be.
Not going to be preachy today, I just want to reiterate how important it is as a first step to take care of your body first. Unlearn any unhealthy practices that your family, friends, society, fad diets, anecdotal evidence, etc. – throw out all that bullshit and fucking listen to what your body is saying.
And be honest with yourself with whatever you find.
If you like the way your biceps look, nourish them. If your lips are perpetually chapped, then hydrate them. If you are in chronic pain and don’t/cannot see a doctor, then at least don’t lie to yourself and say that there’s not a problem.
It’s okay to not know how to take care of yourself; however, if you never give yourself a chance to learn about yourself then your vessel will just continue functioning as a self-sufficient biosystem. Until I realize about my own existential depression, I just did the bare minimum that my vessel needed to do in order to do the task in front of me. I’m changing that now because I fully understand that taking care of my vessel is paramount to me managing this existential depression throughout my life.
One way to combat this came to me in a message, surprisingly, from a YouTube video claiming to be a channeled message from an advanced alien civilization called the ‘YahYel’. The message was essentially “the first step in unconditional love is appreciating yourself”. Giving appreciation to yourself and your vessel is a very important step in taking care of yourself. Even if you don’t believe in what you’re doing, take the time to say to yourself “I appreciate YOU for everything are doing for US”.
Always remember that your ‘vessel’ is not your ‘soul’ – it only inhibits your vessel as the main controller. Your vessel will communicate with you if you’re willing to listen. And that is how the Physical Realm operates – we incarnate into an organic system in a symbiotic relationship. Your vessel will experience all parts of life and communicate it to your soul and it will continue to do so autonomously (read: based on the whims of bacteria) until the soul decides to manually take over.
It is for this reason that your physical realm experiences, however shaping they may be, are NOT who YOU are unless you claim those experiences as such.
It is up to you, on the inside, on how you influence the bio system world that is a part of you.
