TL;DR – Yes, the ‘soul’ aspects of the Spiritual Realm will be debatable to whatever ‘lenses’ people pop into this ‘framework’; yet our relationship to all things around us on a macro-level, especially if we somehow ended up as the only Homo Sapient being alive, is important to understand even before we refine ourselves further as humans in the Social Realm.
The element I personally associate with Spiritual is Earth – with Gaia as the main guardian and guidance force to seek enlightenment from.
Introduction – What is the “Spiritual Realm”?
Following the Mental Realm comes the Spiritual Realm, the most difficult one for many to make sense of. In full transparency, I spent a lot of time over these years refining how to simplify concepts like “soul” into more easily acceptable exoteric explanations. But even before touching on the concept of “soul” comes the most important element of the Spiritual Realm – ‘will’ – the essence of anything related to motivation and conscious action initiation.
I’ll let you Rhapsodites do your own research on ‘will’ and how science approaches its existence (to my knowledge, they can only prove when there is a lack of will(power) rather than concretely prove that ‘will’ exists as something separate than just an ‘advanced’ risk analysis organ functionality of the brain) – as for how I interpret ‘will’, I see it as the ‘pilot’ that receives the rational data from the Mental Realm, the emotional impact data from the Emotional Realm, and sensation feedback data from the Physical realm.
Then based on that Rhapsodite’s personal Nature and Nurture factors, the ‘pilot’ tells the ‘vessel’ on how to enact their commands.
Q – What does ‘spirit’ and ‘soul’ have to do with ‘will’?
I think the best way to understand my perspective on this is to look at things from a ‘sapience’ viewpoint. Essence -> Sentience -> Sapience is the logical progression from what my studies and research have pointed me to. I’ve concluded that ‘essence’ is the Physical realm and all physical laws that constitutes all matter within the Universe that all Rhapsodites’ consciousnesses reside in. The Emotional Realm experiences then provide the building blocks for the first transition into sentience – the Ego.
‘Sentience’ is then attained when the Mental Realm becomes a distinct process from the emotional reactions happening due to chemical DNA triggers (e.g. being aware that you are angry enough to punch someone) – this process is solidified in ‘consciousness’ and the Ego gets packaged into and managed as our ‘subconscious’.
HOWEVER!!!
I believe being conscious WITHOUT WILL is the same kind of existence as a person being in a comatose state: they do not possess the working facilities to enact their WILL, but many are able to CONSCIOUSLY perceive the sensations that their vessel experiences.
Therefore, once ‘will’ is acknowledged, understood, and accepted as its own existence, then it lays the foundation for “Sapience” – the desire to see how this ‘will’ is connected to other ‘wills’, despite the ‘vessels’ the other ‘wills’ inhibit.
And we will continue to expand upon our “Sapience” in the Social Realm in the context of ‘Us’ (collective conscious and united wills).
Q – Why does the Spiritual Realm come AFTER the Mental Realm?
Because I believe that the mental facilities of the brain are primarily for risk assessment (shout to Second Brain users!) – it is the ‘will’ that acts on those assessments. An example of this would be like playing a game of ‘chicken’ – this game specifically tests if you can will your body into not fleeing because of your instincts in a dangerous situation. If you couldn’t choose to go with or against your instincts due to the absence of will, then no matter what risk analysis results the brain tells itself…the lower part of the brain that holds the genetic programming that controls one’s self preservation instincts will just ignore all of that ‘rational’ data for hormonal and environmental stimuli to trigger DNA-programmed respones (i.e. fight, flight, or freeze).
The ‘will’ of DNA vs the ‘will’ of Self.
Q – Why does the Spiritual Realm come BEFORE the Social realm?
Well…for the simple fact that most wills can pilot their vessel with or without another human present. Most humans have the ability to choose whether or not to move their vessels towards other humans or away from them. Although one is born from humans, it doesn’t mean that social interaction is necessary for one to enact your will upon the world at large.
Yes, in the Foundational Realms post, I talk about how being unhealthy in any of the realms will shorten a human’s lifespan; that still holds 100% true in this case. Still, even at an average shorter lifespan…a short life is still a life…
Main Functions of Spiritual Realm:
Will – soul purpose, spirit, aura, presence, vitality
Creativity – art, outside-of-reality conceptualization (paradigm shift)
Inspiration – idea manifestation, motivation
Intuition – ‘understanding without knowing’, sixth+ sense
Nature Connection – circle of life awareness & acceptance
Understanding of Self – enlightenment, existential/esoteric comprehension
